"A Refuge in an Artificial World"

In a world saturated with artificiality, where the line between natural and artificial becomes increasingly blurred, often, when I see a face, I wonder, what does the person in front of me really look like without all that hides their truth?

Certainly, this is why I love the Renaissance, a time when artists found their greatest inspiration in the natural world. From Leonardo da Vinci's majestic brushstrokes to the delicate harmony of forms in Michelangelo's sculptures, each work breathes life and celebrates the beauty of the natural world.

Representations of the human figure reflect a deep respect for anatomy and emotional expression, capturing the very essence of human existence.

Today, in a world where aesthetic artificiality reigns supreme, the legacy of the Renaissance offers us an invitation to reconnect with what is genuine and true.

It reminds us that beauty does not reside in manufactured perfection, but in the imperfection and complexity of the natural world. In a universe of filters and digital touch-ups, the Renaissance urges us to appreciate the authenticity of life as it is.

It is in this rebirth of authenticity where I find my greatest joy and solace, and thus, the Renaissance becomes a refuge for me and remains one of the artistic periods that I most appreciate and love.
